Versa Dog Sports, a long time friend of the Soldier Hollow Classic – and a fast-growing, full-service training facility, is owned and operated by Kristin Sittner. Kristin has over 20 years’ dog training experience in a variety of disciplines including agility, herding, conformation, detection dog, obedience, and pulling.
Versa Dog Sports was founded by Kristin in 2014. In 2016, she purchased 6 acres in Layton, UT which is now the home of Versa Dog Sports. The training facility includes a 100’ X 200’ building with multiple training areas, a field for herding and other dog sports, and soon-to-be parcourse.
Versa Dog Sports offers training in obedience and agility from puppy to advanced competition levels, trick dog, conformation, therapy dog, rally and herding. As we grow, we continue to expand our product offerings to help our clients build a better relationship through dog training.

The Navajo Sheep Project, a long time friend of the Soldier Hollow Classic – Serving People, Preserving Cultures seeks to preserve and breed back the Navajo Churro sheep, to assist in the further development of flocks in the Four Corners region, supporting Diné and Hispanic breeders and any who seek to protect the legacy of the Navajo Churro.
Visit their booth and wonderful wares as well as the Navajo Churro sheep each day of the event by Demo Arena 1!
The Churros participate in the Sheep Herding AND Sheep Shearing Demos daily in Demo Arena 1.
With 29 years experience, Luke Farmer is a seasoned professional sheep shearer based in Utah.

GETTING YOUR DUCKS IN A ROW: Arena/Duck Herding and more with Deb, Karolee and friends and their canine teammates!
Deb enjoys traveling around with her border collies in search of work and adventure. Her border collie Harley likes to work sheep and ducks.
Karolee, the caregiver for the ducks and whose dogs love herding, do it every chance they can. They also are involved with nosework and help with mental health therapy sessions.

Clancy’s Dream brings help and hope to Border Collies in need. We provide rescue, medical, rehabilitation and adoption assistance for neglected, abused or abandoned Border Collies. We assist families who are unable to afford medical help for a sick or injured Border Collie.
