Johnson, Scott – Anne

Anne is a 10 year old border collie. She was raised and trained by Scott and Jenny Glen before going to Frank Smith in Georgia. In November of 2021, Frank asked Scott if he would like to run Anne and they hooked up right away. She has been a very solid and consistent dog for him. Anne was a double lift finalist at the 2023 USBCHA Finals.

Scott wasn’t raised around livestock.  He played sports, playing golf in college and played and taught golf for a few years after college before getting into the restaurant business, which he has been in for 24 years. He owns and manages two restaurants in Alabama. Scott was introduced to Border Collies when he was at an obedience class with his Australian Shepherd and the guy next door had sheep in the field.  Scott spent more time watching the sheep than paying attention to the class.  After the class he asked the lady who was teaching to introduce him to the guy. That introduction led to a new friendship and a passion for sheepdogs.  Scott now has a small flock of Cheviot and Katahdin sheep.
