Lil Sis is sweet and funny and too cute for her own good. Her only fault is her trying too hard with too much enthusiasm. Some times Karen can’t correct her for a mistake because she is laughing too hard. Lil Sis will be 5 in July and Karen raised her from a pup.
Karen, a Utah handler and volunteer here at Soldier Hollow, started with horses, riding everything from trick horses, racehorses, hunter jumpers and now settling in with competitive reining horses. She started with sheepdogs about twelve years ago when her pet border collie needed a job, and one thing led to another . . . and another. She is a recently retired emergency room doctor, a job she did for over thirty years. Now she has more time for even more dogs and horses.
