McGee, James – BECCA

James P McGee comes from his Glencregg farm in Co Donegal Ireland, where he has both sheep and cattle. James is and has been a great promoter and ambassador for the World of Sheep Dog Trials over the last two decades. He is a passionate handler who demonstrates excellent shepherding skills and a unique partnership with his dogs. James has accumulated some of the most prestigious titles within the Sheepdog world — countless open and nursery titles, One man and his Dog , Hebridean King of the Isles , Champion of Champions, Irish National Team Member, Irish National Champion 2005 and 2007, World Champion in 2011 and International Supreme champion 2014. Due to James’ success on the trial field, Glencregg Sheep Dogs has become a household name with the Sheepdog world for breeding of top trial and work dogs. A blood line that has been preserved from the infamous  “Becca” and “Glencregg Silver.” James owes his success and his accomplishments to Becca and Silver. James has travelled all over the world, giving clinics and sharing his expertise and knowledge. He is also known for his accuracy and fairness in judging.  In the last 3 years, James has developed his online Patreon Sheepdog Training Programme, which has grown to be an international and global success.
