Description

Josh is a 5-year old male out of Hybeck Blake, a Supreme Champion. Josh was perhaps technically imported as the dam was pregnant when she came from from the UK.  Fernando describes Josh as honest, a good listener and driven to work.  He has good sheep sense, is a willing partner, and great temperament. Josh is a successful trial dog, winning the  2023 NW Sheepdog Champion in Scio, 2023 Sheep Thrillz double lift final reserve, and 2023 Catbird Champion.   He competed in the 2023 Finals Benefit Trial at Strang Ranch Sheepdog Trial and finished Open 1st and 2nd in two of the open trials.  In the 2023 USBCHA Finals in Carbondale, he finished in 7^thplace in the final.  Josh has reached the USBCHA Finals Double Lift twice, in 2021 finishing in 13^th place and awarded the “Best Pen.”  Whenever Fernando trials Josh, they usually finish in the top 5.

Fernando moved to the USA from Brazil in 2013 and started really competing here in 2015.  He now lives in Arlington Washington with his wife and dogs.  Fernando has been in the double lift final of the USBCHA National Finals Double 4 times.  Fernando also offers training and teaching opportunities.
