Description
Queen is a 4 year old imported daughter of Hybeck Blake. She was Kevin Evans dad’s dog before coming here in February. She’s a pleasure to run. Her personality is just lovely and she’s just a joy to be around.
Rebecca has been training dogs all of her life and has been training Border Collies for the last 21 years. She competed in her first dog show at four years old. Rebecca’s love for dogs continued through her childhood and, after college, she bought her first Border Collie. After sheepdog trialing extensively, Rebecca focused her energy on Border Collies for wildlife management. Rebecca and her husband, Josh, own a company called Flyaway Geese that trains and uses Border Collies for wildlife management on parks, schools, golf courses and airports. They currently are working on a 4.2 billion dollar Virginia Department of Transportation project in which 24 of the Gibsons dogs and 20 or so handlers work 24 hours a day 7 days a week keeping nesting birds off of the biggest tunnel construction in VDOT history,
