Description
Clete is a quiet, no-nonsense, git ‘er done kind of dog – there when Mike needs him, and melting into the background when he isn’t needed. Clete is just as happy working cattle as he is sheep. Mike and Clete help out with multiple cattle round-ups and branding every year, and it never fails that someone asks about that big, fuzzy working dog and how they can get one as handy as he is.
Mike and his wife, Terry Murray, also competing here, own and work a sheep ranch in Peyton Co.Mike has worked tirelessly behind the scene of several large trials, including the National Finals at Colorado. Mike spent 26 years on active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard, mainly as a search and rescue helicopter pilot, and I currently work as a senior intelligence officer at the headquarters of NORAD and U.S. Northern Command in Colorado Springs.
