Description
Dan is a 5-year old male border collie, out of Hybeck Blake, a famous Welsh dog who has sired a number of successful sheepdogs. Susan has owned Dan for a little over a year. Susan notes that Dan has traveled and trialed more than she has, so he is teaching her along the way. Dan was the 2021 Nursery Reserve Champion.
Susan lives on a 70 acre farm in Berryville, Va. She never dreamed of owning a farm until she took her first border collie for an instinct test. After that, she was hooked. Susan now owns Keepstone Farm, with around 100 sheep and 25 cows. Keepstone Farm is an all season stock dog training facility, offering multiple services for herding dog owners and handlers, and they also put on a few sheepdog trials every year.
