Tietjen, Joni – ASH

Description

Ash is a favorite around the ranch.  He has been very successful trialing on both sheep and cattle.  Ash made the finals at Meeker last year before he was 2.  Joni says that Ash is a really fun dog to work and train.

Joni has been working dogs since the early 1990s. She has always ranched and sheepdogs have always been a way of life, an integral part of ranch work. Joni started trailing with some of her working dogs and qualified for the National Finals for the first time in 1998. Joni has consistently been in the top five in many of the major trials, including Kingston, the Bluegrass Classic and the Meeker Classic. She has been in the double lift finals at the Nationals ten times and the nursery finals eleven times, winning the National Nursery Championship three times.  She lives in Clearmont, Wyoming where she works a ranch with her husband, running black angus commercial cattle
