Gantenbein, Stefan – ULANI

Description

Ulani von Enggetschwil is a 4-year female dog and the daughter of Qence, being run here by Andreas Scheiss.  Like her mother, Ulani is always very enthusiastic about work and, as a youngster, she too had legs that were often faster than her brain – a family trait.  Fortunately, she settled down, remaining enthusiastic but partnering with Stefan.

Stefan comes to us from Speicher, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Switzerland.  He started with herding first with a Bergamasker x Border Collie crossed dog for cattle work on alpine pastures.  He has his first pedigreed Border Collie in 2015 and began trialing in 2018. Stefan is twice the Swiss Reserve National Champion and was a member of the 2023 Swim World Team.  He is a farmer, carpenter, and a sheep farmer who also shears.  Hobbies include skiing, yodeling, and hiking.
