Description
Handy is a 4-year-old son of Mole Sweep. This is Handy’s first time to Soldier Hollow. Vickie flew him in as a puppy, opened the crate and fell in love. He’s one of those dogs that even through the ups and downs of training, Vickie has never doubted him. She just likes him.
Vicki Close is a proven competitor, a repeated finalist both here at Soldier Hollow and at the National Finals, Meeker, Catbird, and the Canadian Finals. She started doing agility but attended a sheepdog clinic for fun and it went on from there. Vickie is also a gifted artist and award-winning photographer who does traditional painting along with photographic art. She bought a dog from a guy named Norman Close and then she married him—both are running here at Soldier Hollow. Vickie is also a successful entrepreneur as owner of Farm Diggity—you can visit her booth here at Soldier Hollow. Her life has centered around animals and they have played a role in her recreation, art, and business. As she states: “The talent of these animals amazes me, their work ethic is unbelievable.”
