Description

Qence von Enggetschwil (gotta love the Swiss dog names) is a 6-year old female, homebred female.  Quence is an enthusiastic worker, always has been.  When she was young, her legs were faster than her brain.  Corrections were often ignored or simply answered with an increase in speed (without implementing the desired correction, of course).  Things have improved since then and she is a “great bitch with a big heart!”  She is honest and always ready when asked, likes to work and easy to travel with, even on a city trip.

Andreas lives in Gossau, St.Gallen, Switzerland.  His father bought first sheepdog in 2001 for sheep work. Before that they kept Appenzell Cattle Dog as farm dogs.  Andreas is a 7 time Swiss National Champion, winning 4 of those with his first own Border Collie. Andreas has actively worked and trialed sheepdogs since 2004.  He is an agricultural engineer, with a farm to breed, train and work border collies as well as Welsh Corgi Pemproke and Poodles.  He also runs a boarding kennel and owns a dog food company.  Andreas ran here at Soldier Hollow in 2018 and in that same year won the Best Drive Award at the Meeker Classic.  Andreas also enjoys skiing, city trips and good food and wine.
