Although an experienced  trial dog, Ben is new to Carol, making this one of their early trials together.  When off sheep, he is pretty demanding — wanting pets and cuddles on a full-time basis.

Carol is a “local,” living in Charleston, Utah, and is the Soldier Hollow Classic Competition Manager.

Description

Carol and Ben are “true locals,” living just 3 miles from Soldier Hollow in Charleston, Utah.  Ben is a 6-year old Border Collie and found his new home with Carol in the spring of 2024.  Carol feels very lucky to have this great dog and is excited to work and trial him.  Ben has a terrific temperament and is yet another one of her dogs that “hasn’t met a person he didn’t like.”  He would like to be a couch dog — creating a crowded couch with Meg, Ben and Carol.

Carol is our Competition Manager and, along with our Festival Manager, Judy Klautt, are the operators of the Soldier Hollow Classic.
