Oscar has a good feel for the sheep and knows where to be. What Wyatt loves most about Oscar is his willingness and how easy he is to handle. At 18 months, Oscar old ran in three Nursery Trials. Wyatt’s dad (Thad) was running him and liked him enough to move him to Open. The first Open Trial he ran in he placed 4th out of 70 dogs. This trial year he has succeeded in both open and has won several Nursery Trials. This young dog is definitely be a dog to watch in the future.
Wyatt Fleming lives in Leeton, Missouri. He and his dad, Thad Fleming (also running here at Soldier Hollow), traveled and competed all over the US while Wyatt was growing up. Wyatt has competed at the National Sheep Finals and finished in the top 20 several times, and has also competed in many double lifts. He raises 30 Cheviot sheep and is self-employed. When not working with his dogs, Wyatt enjoys spending time with his wife and their 4 children.
