Recently imported by Rebecca from Wales, Tex demonstrated his mettle under the expert guidance of Kevin Evans, capturing the Powys Nursery Champion title.  His accolades don’t end there; as the Reserve South Wales champion and 3rd place victor in the All Wales final, he has proven his prowess time and again.  Rebecca eagerly aways the future of her partnership with Tex and is certain that Tex will shine as they “face new challenges and seize triumphant moments.” Here’s to many upcoming adventures and the their remarkable journey ahead. Welcome to your new home in the USA!

Rebecca has been training dogs all of her life and has been training Border Collies for the last 21 years. She competed in her first dog show at four years old. Rebecca’s love for dogs continued through her childhood and, after college, she bought her first Border Collie. After sheepdog trialing extensively, Rebecca focused her energy on Border Collies for wildlife management.  Rebecca and her husband Josh own a company called Flyaway Geese that trains and uses Border collies for wildlife management on parks, schools, golf courses and airports.  They currently are working on a 4.2 billion dollar Virginia Department of Transportation project in which 24 of the Gibsons dogs and 20 or so handlers work 24 hours a day 7 days a week keeping nesting birds off of the biggest tunnel construction in VDOT history,
