Delilah is an 8-year-old female imported from England, sired by Ricky Hutchinson’s International Supreme Champion Jock, and out of Mrs. J. Rees-Denman’s Welsh-bred Denwyn Jess. Delilah is the most faithful dog Michele has ever owned—she wants to please Michele more than anything. Delilah is ALWAYS up to doing anything Michele asks, whether it is moving her 250 sheep from field to field, free grazing them, driving them 2 miles up the road to her daughter’s ranch, or working sheep in the pens. She loves going hiking or llama packing and camping. She lives in the house with Michele and is an exceptionally well-mannered companion with a phenomenal temperament. Most importantly, she is fantastic with Michele’s 2 granddaughters.

Michele Howard lives in Wellington, Nevada. She and her late husband Chuck had both sheep and cattle on their ranch in Alturas, California, and Michele has used Border Collies for over 35 years. She became involved in trialing when her daughter, Haley Hunnewill (also running here at Soldier Hollow), wanted to start trialing. Haley was too young to drive at that time, so Michele was the designated driver, and since she was driving to the trials, she decided to start competing as well—this was in 1997. Michele is retired and has a flock of 250 Dorper X Katahdin ewes. She loves music and is learning to play the piano.
