Description
Bill, a 6-year old dog that Bridget imported when he was a 1½-year-old started dog. His father Don won the Scottish Nursery final and has gone on to be a major force in the international sheepdog trials with his owner Mosse Magnusson. Bill is a great listener and tries hard to help Bridget in whatever task she is doing.
Bridget Strang lives on a family ranch in Carbondale, Colorado. She got involved in sheepdog trialing by volunteering to help at the Meeker Classic. That apparently led to Bridget and her family hosting the USBCHA National Finals for five years at the Strang Ranch—a major effort and terrific event. While seemingly immersed in sheepdogs and sheepdog trials, Bridget is a horse trainer by trade, teaching others to ride and compete. She has been on the farm and around horses her whole life, eventing at the advanced level for several years and showing cutting horses at the Western States Championship. When asked about her achievements in sheepdog trials, Bridget says she is still working on that, but includes her invite to Soldier Hollow on the list. 🙂
