Description
Tom and his handler, Nigel, both come from Wales and are traveling North American to trial and teach. Tom is a 4 1/2 year old male dog out of D.M. Howell’s, Nip. Nigel notes that Tom resembles and old soul when not working sheep. His favorite activity in the house is to steal the toilet paper and tear it apart. Both of Nigel’s dogs running her have “lovely personalities.” “They would die for you.”
Nigel is from Wales where he raises both sheep and cattle. An accomplished trainer and handler, he has ben on the Welsh National Team for over four decades and is a three-time Welsh National Champion. He has been the Reserve Champion in the International Supreme two times and was the 2015 Canadian Open Champion. Nigel judges sheepdog trials and teaches clinics all over the world. This is Nigel’s second time running at Soldier Hollow and we are excited to welcome back this accomplished world handler.
